[0396-2222] PROJECT MKULTRA – Companion Dossier (PDF)

Description

In January 1973, CIA Director Richard Helms ordered the systematic incineration of all records detailing Project MKUltra, consigning decades of illicit human experimentation to the basement furnaces of Langley. Yet the paper trail could not be completely erased. This Companion Dossier reconstructs the forensic anatomy of the Agency’s covert quest for mind control, authorized under Allen Dulles and executed by biochemist Dr. Sidney Gottlieb. Drawing directly from surviving operational cables, declassified subproject ledgers, and congressional inquiries, this investigative report maps the chilling expansion of MKUltra from Room 2E82 at CIA headquarters to safe houses in Greenwich Village and San Francisco. Explore the granular mechanics of Operation Midnight Climax, the lethal field test that drove Army biochemist Frank Olson out of a tenth-story window, and the covert procurement of Swiss-manufactured LSD. Formatted with executive timelines, authentic evidentiary transcripts, and operational flowcharts, this dossier provides researchers and intelligence historians with an uncompromising forensic deconstruction of Cold War institutional deception and unauthorized human experimentation.
